What is Santorini Experience?
Santorini Experience is Santorini’s premier sports tourism event, with running and swimming races set against Oia, Imerovigli, Fira and the Volcano. It is co-organised by the Municipality of Thira, the Municipality’s Department of Sports and Culture, and ActiveMedia Group.
Where and when?
Santorini Experience 2026 takes place on 16–18 October 2026 in Santorini, one of the world’s leading destinations.
What are the routes?
Trail running routes of 15 km, 10 km and 5 km with Caldera views, starting in Oia, passing Imerovigli and Firostefani and finishing back in Oia, plus a unique 1.5-mile (2.4 km) open-water swim from the Volcano to the Old Port of Fira.
Free entry for Thira residents
Residents of the Municipality of Thira can take part for free. Free registration is available only at Alafouzos Sport in Fira, the event’s Official Sports Store.
